About Our Grants
NFCSN grants provide temporary financial assistance to those who need help paying Christian Science nursing and related Christian Science practitioner invoices.
Who is eligible
Those who are:
- Actively working to demonstrate healing in Christian Science
- Receiving Christian Science nursing care
- Not able to pay the full cost of their current care
- Residing in the United States or one of its territories
What is covered
Christian Science nursing fees invoiced by:
- Accredited Christian Science nursing facilities
- Visiting Christian Science nursing services
- Private-duty Journal-listed Christian Science nurses
NFCSN can also help cover related invoices from Journal-listed Christian Science practitioners.
In all these cases, we will pay providers directly for their services.
What is not covered
These costs are beyond the scope of NFCSN:
- Reimbursement for invoices already paid
- Travel costs
- Nursing supplies and equipment
- Personal items
Applications from executors of estates are not accepted.
How does the application process work?
Collect needed information.
Submit an online application,
Provide all required documents.
Participate in a phone interview.
Once the steps listed above are complete, the Grant Committee can generally make a grant decision within two weeks. When the decision is made, a grant administrator will promptly notify the applicant (or their designated representative).
